Alex Espinosa

Founder

Alex Espinosa is the founder and President of Pilot Line, where he’s on a mission to make R&D catheter manufacturing faster, smarter, and more accessible. As a former R&D catheter engineer, Alex spent years building custom machines from scratch—so he created Pilot Line to make sure others wouldn’t have to. Detail-oriented and relentlessly curious, Alex thrives on solving tough problems and tackling all kinds of engineering challenges. Whether he’s refining a fixture or designing a new tool, his drive to improve is what powers the company forward.

Outside of work, Alex is a devoted husband and father, a Battle Bots builder, and a car enthusiast. He’s proud of the company he’s built—but even prouder of the team behind it.
